The government's decision to establish stricter requirements for investment projects implemented by residents of special economic zones has come into force. This decision was taken in order to improve the efficiency of SEZ functioning and attract better quality investments.

These changes are aimed at improving tax accounting and reporting, as well as creating a more transparent and convenient business environment in SEZs.
The purpose of creating an SEZ in Permskoye is to bring together large investors on a single site for the construction of new industrial facilities. The territory was granted SEZ status in 2022 for 49 years.
