On January 1, 2024, amendments to the Tax Code simplifying access to tax monitoring for residents of special economic zones in Russia came into force. These changes are aimed at improving tax accounting and reporting, as well as creating a more transparent and convenient business environment in SEZs.
The purpose of creating an SEZ in Permskoye is to bring together large investors on a single site for the construction of new industrial facilities. The territory was granted SEZ status in 2022 for 49 years.

Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum 2023 took place in Perm from November 29 to December 1. Representatives of industrial business from Iran paid an official visit to the Kama region to participate in PIPF-2023. The delegation came to the Kama region to assess resource opportunities and potential for cooperation. The group, consisting of CEOs of large Iranian manufacturing companies from various industries, was headed by Gasimi Perdram, Secretary General of the Department of the Oman-Iran Chamber of Industry.
