In honor of the anniversary of awarding the capital of the Kama region the title "City of Labor Valor" on July 2 will be a major holiday, the headliner of which will be the band "Lube


Within the framework of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the capital of the Kama region on July 2 a number of events timed to the anniversary of awarding it the title "City of Labor Valor" will be held, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Perm region.

From 12:00 to 20:00 on the square in front of "Teatr-Theatre" a fair of products of local producers "Buy Permskoe" will work, where citizens and guests of the city will be able to try and buy fresh food, various gifts and souvenirs. Also during the day everyone will be able to enjoy the photo zone with military equipment, organized in the framework of the festival "Weapon of Victory".

At 5:40 p.m. a solemn laying of flowers and wreaths at the stele installed on Three Centuries Square in honor of awarding Perm with the honorary title will begin.

In addition, a number of sports events will be held on July 2. In the amphitheatre on the embankment of Kama from 12:00 to 14:00 there will be the "Quiet Basketball" tournament within the League of Strong Men, from 16:00 to 18:00 there will be the Cup of Contenders, and from 19:00 to 21:00 - Russian Basketball 3x3 Championship. Besides, gala basketball match in retro style with participation of Dmitry Makhonin, governor of Perm region, and Andrey Kirilenko, head of Russian Basketball Federation, will be held at 14:00.

A special guest of the event will be the rapper Pharaoh. His performance on the waterfront is scheduled for 18:00.

The key event of the celebration of the anniversary of the "City of Labor Valor" title in Perm will be a concert on the city's esplanade. At 18:00 on the stage in front of the "Theater-Theater" the Perm Provincial Orchestra will perform. The musical program of Sergey Volchkov, the winner of the second season of the "Voice" television project, will begin at 19:00, and at 20:00 a concert of the "Lube" band will take place and finish the celebration.

Admission for spectators to all events is free.
