Chaired by Alexei Chibisov, Deputy Chairman of the Government - Minister of Industry and Trade of Perm Krai, a meeting of the Expert Council of the Special Economic Zone of the Industrial Production Type "Perm" was held. In addition to representatives of state authorities and permanent members of the Expert Council, the meeting was also attended by representatives of potential residents of the SEZ "Perm". In the course of the meeting, members of the Expert Council reviewed five applications for resident status and analyzed draft business plans of enterprises planning to establish their production facilities on the territory of SEZ "Perm".
As a reminder, among those intending to become residents of the Special Economic Zone, the application was submitted by JSC "UEC-Perm Motors", which aims to build a production complex for the serial production of aircraft engines PD-8, PD-14, PS-90A. The company is ready to invest ₽55.4 billion to implement its project. Another company that applied for the resident status was OOO "Perm Shipyard". The investment project of the enterprise foresees the modernization of production facilities for the production of river and sea vessels, metal structures, stopping and berthing complexes. The total volume of investments Perm Shipyard is ready to grant will be about 2,5 milliard ₽. At the meeting the application of the plastic products manufacturing company LLC STELLA PLASTIC was also considered. It is planning to build a new manufacture of high-quality, stylish and environmentally friendly PVC products for interior decoration of premises. For this purpose Stella Plastics Ltd. is already ready to give 203 million ₽ as an investment. The members of the Expert Council also considered the application of Forplast Ltd. which produces hydrocarbons and their derivatives. The company intends to establish the production of polyethylene waxes as well as the production of micronized and oxidized waxes and wax emulsions on the territory of SEZ "Perm". The company plans to invest 224,6 million ₽. The meeting also considered the application of LLC "Osentsovsky Steel-Rolling Plant", which plans to build a steel plant for the production of long products, and as an investment is ready to contribute 500 million ₽.
According to the expert opinions of the Council members, all the submitted business plans meet the evaluation criteria and were unanimously supported. As a result, all the companies that submitted applications will receive the status of residents of the Special Economic Zone of Industrial and Production Type "Perm". The next stage will be the preparation and signing of the Agreement on carrying out industrial and production activities on the territory of SEZ "Perm" between the residents, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Perm Region and JSC "Managing Company "SEZ Perm".
