Resident of SEZ “Perm” - Osentsovskiy Steel Rolling Plant became the first resident to receive a construction permit and is already starting construction of the first stage of Osentsovskiy Steel Rolling Plant on our territory!
The construction volume of the first stage of the plant will be 17,322 meters3. The plant will specialize in the production of long products made of alloyed and non-alloyed steels, as well as stainless steel. The plant's products will be used in various industries, including construction, military-industrial complex, aircraft and engine building, oil refining, chemical industry, energy and machine building.
The products of Osentsovsky Steel Rolling Plant not only correspond to the list of critical industrial products in the ferrous metallurgy of the Russian Federation for 2023 and the planning period up to 2025, but also represent a strategically important link within the Perm SEZ.
The second phase of the project includes the construction of a complex of production buildings, including a smelting shop, foundry and rolling shop, which demonstrates the long-term development plans of the plant.
The plant is scheduled to start production in 2026. Starting from the third year of operation, it is planned to introduce a vacuum convector to improve product quality and reduce the content of impurities. Production of products at the plant will be carried out in small and medium batches using modern technologies, including machining, volumetric and induction hardening, and galvanization.
The technological solutions implemented in the project comply with the world's advanced standards and best practices in the field of ferrous metal production. The project also emphasizes energy- and resource-saving technologies, as well as environmental safety with minimal emissions.
Osentsovsky Steel Rolling Plant plans to become a center for pilot production, design, prototyping and engineering in its industry, underscoring its importance as a key player on the industrial map of the region and the country.
