Representatives of JSC "Managing Company "SEZ Perm" paid an official visit to the special economic zone of industrial-production type "Titanium Valley" in Yekaterinburg.
Titanium Valley SEZ includes two sites: Verkhnyaya Salda operating since 2010 and Uktus site created in 2018. Priority industries of the Titanium Valley SEZ include aircraft building, titanium products manufacturing, metallurgy and metalworking, production of products and composite materials, as well as woodworking and medical industry. More than ten companies have placed their enterprises on the territory of "Titanium Valley", including Ural Civil Aviation Plant JSC, Rusmed LLC, Silarus LLC and others.
The participants of the meeting toured the Uktus production site, where representatives of the Titanium Valley SEZ organized a tour of the production facilities of the anchor resident JSC "Ural Civil Aviation Plant", which specializes in the development, production, testing, repair and maintenance of aircraft, parts, units and assemblies. Representatives of the Managing Company SEZ Perm were able to get acquainted with the process of creating airplanes and their parts. In addition to employees of both special economic zones, the presentation of the Uktus site was also attended by representatives of the Ekaterinburg City Administration.
In addition, during the meeting, representatives of JSC "Managing Company "SEZ Perm" and JSC "Titanium Valley SEZ" also discussed a number of working issues, exchanged experiences in the creation and management of special economic zones of industrial production type and established contacts for further cooperation.
