The Russian government continues to work on the formation of industrial clusters, where investors can implement projects important for the development of the economy on favorable terms. A new decision concerns the creation of the special economic zone (SEZ) «Perm». The decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation.
The preferential zone to be created will be located near a large industrial hub, which includes the production complexes of SIBUR, LUKOIL and Uralchem.
The main specialization of the SEZ will be the development of chemistry and petrochemistry, mechanical engineering, including agricultural production of industrial equipment, metalworking, IT-industry.
